The Grand Prix of Super Bikes is one of the biggest motorcycling events of the year. We take you to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya with the maximum comfort for you to access this unique event.

About the Circuit
The first stone of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya was placed on February 24, 1989, thanks to the impulse of the Consortium formed by the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Real Automóvil Club de Catalunya (RACC) and the City Council of Montmeló.

Previously, on October 3, 1986, the Parliament of Catalonia had unanimously approved a proposal not of law, urging the Executive Council to “coordinate relevant bodies, in order to study and join efforts for the creation of a new permanent circuit of speed “.

Five days after its official inauguration on September 10, 1991, the Circuit hosted the first official race, the Spanish Touring Car Championship, with the victory of the former F-1 driver, Luis Pérez-Sala. On September 29, 1991, the 35th Spanish Grand Prix of F-1 was disputed after 16 years of absence in Catalonia, while the Motorcycling World Championship came a year later with the celebration of the Grand Prix of Europe, a name that would change for the one in Catalonia starting in 1995.

During all these years of activity, the Circuit has seen through its calendar the best international motor competitions, as well as other national championships or unique tests such as endurance.

The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is headquartered in the offices within the sports facility itself, in the old farmhouse known as Mas La Moreneta.
